My
History
We go our first bulldog in 1987 which was called Saltcountry Pepper
(sire Tretun Mr Bumble dam Cabinteely Tillimint)
We showed her for a few times but we sadly lost her 18 months later.
So we had to replace her and we had got to know a few people in the
short time we had shown Pepper so then we was lucky enough to acquire
our Barney Rollben Prize (sire Wencar Silver Sonlight dam Judy of Rollben)
a 6 month old dog, we got a bit more keener and started to branch out a bit
going to more breed open shows and Championship shows going from one
end of England to the other, then you could say we caught the BUG !!!!
Then we bought a bitch which was one of our foundation bitches our Kim
Wigin Wanda (sir Ch Aldridge Avanti dam Jeanies Pride)
Then we decided to apply for a affix which was taken from the film
BLUES BROTHERS and my idol John Belushi that's how we acquired BELUSHI
as our affix and from then on we have been on a mission .
Kim was mated to Ch Shebador Floyd of Ocobo which produced our first
Champion Sophie CH Belushi Floy Joy. That introduced use to Mr N Davies
Ocobo who is one of the top handlers in England.
We then bought in another bitch (Raz) Pringhams Razzal Dazzel of Belushi
who was matted to Ch Iscraig Red Baron W Roberts Iscraig another top kennel
That produced our second Champion (Della) Ch Belushi De La Soul and a
daughter of (Raz) Belushi Red Sonja we matted her to Ch Tymaro Tender Touch
that produced us Belushi Boots and Braces who was later campaigned in Spain
by Juan Antonio Mari Crusheds Bulldogs who campaigned him 4 CCs
3 CACIBS 3 Res.
We then Mated Ch Belushi Floy Joy to Britishpride Power N Glory which
produced our (Jake) Ch Belushi Rhythm and Blues, Belushi Woodcutter,
Belushi Wild Rover and Belushi Special Brew who was Top bulldog in Iceland
in 1998
Belushi Pride and Joy was mated to Ch Esclusham Golden Chimes of Wencar
Owned by Mrs Carol Newman WENCAR which produced Belushi Blaze and Glory,
Belushi Persian Rose of Wencar, Belushi Asheena, Belushi Doyle.
We matted Belushi Pride and joy again to (BJ) Belushi Rhythm Dancer
who is out of Ch Belushi Rhythm and Blues and Ch Belushi De La Soul
who produced us Belushi No Illusion, Belushi New Sensation
and Belushi Tommy Gun who has just won his first CC and he is still
in puppy class so as we say!!!!
